Fresh Element started life in 2004 as a start-up catering company with one small kitchen, one van and a vision for providing the people of the North East with fresh, natural, local food. This started out as a ‘gourmet ready meal’ delivery service to the busy professionals of Newcastle Quayside and quickly expanded into corporate catering, dinner parties and wedding catering.

Over the years we steadily grew into a bespoke catering company with an unrivalled reputation in the North East for food quality and service, building up an impressive roster of high profile clients and affiliations with the region’s best venues.

In 2008 we became the food and drink partner to BALTIC, the largest contemporary art gallery in the world and an iconic building on the NewcastleGateshead Quayside skyline. The partnership has enabled us to open Six, our first restaurant as well as applying the Fresh Element ethos to BALTIC's Café Bar and events in the building’s fantastic private hire spaces.
